The county accepts requests by mail, fax, email, in person, or phone. A written request that identifies an existing record with reasonable specificity is recommended. The policy describes a five-working-day response period and a possible additional seven working days when needed. Charges are limited to actual costs; ask for an estimate, and the county may request a deposit when an estimate exceeds $200.
